This is Mary Thomas, oldest daughter of Mary Jane Burdick and Warren Howland.

This is Frank Thomas, first husband of Mary (Howland) Thomas. Frank and Mary were married in 1872. The pictures probably date from the 1870s.

This is Albert (Bert) Partridge (1896 – 1965), son of Mary (Howland) and 2nd husband Irving Partridge. Picture circa 1940?

These girl’s are the granddaughter’s of Mary Jane and Warren Howland, daughters of Charles and Elizabeth Heath Howland. This was Charle’s 2nd family. The girls are, l –r, Marie, Veva, Catherine, and Mildred. Picture circa 1910.

Mary Jane’s daughters: Mary (Howland) (Thomas) Partridge, Estella “Stella” (Howland) Brazee, Augusta Ella “El” (Howland) Rood, and Elma (Arnold) Phillips.

This lovely group is the Ticknor family. The tall marine sergeant is Andrew. The Petty Officer 2nd Class is Rebecca. The proud parents are Gordon and Eleanor. Eleanor (Phillips) Ticknor is a g-g-granddaughter of Mary Jane (Burdick) and her 3rd husband Chaddiah C. Arnold, both pictured in Room XX

 

Gordon retired as a corrections officer from the Broome County, NY Sheriff’s Department in September 2008.

 

Eleanor continues as the Town of Lisle Historian. She is currently writing articles on local history for the weekly newspaper. He's an Air Force veteran with eight years active duty and five years in the National Guard.

 

 

Son Andrew completed eight years in the US Marines in the fall of 2008. He is currently driving tractor trailer.

Daughter Becky finished 4 years in the US navy in 2006.She is now back home in NY; where, she is attending Broome Community College. She is one busy girl working working in information technology and studying full-time for her bachelor’s degree.
